Product code: Handmade vintage fringed cotton outlet shawl
This gorgeous shawl was handmade in Mexico around the 1960's or 70's. Purchased at the Bazar Sabado in Mexico City. 79" long X 25" wide down the center. The measurement does not include the 10" fringe. It is 100% Algadone (cotton). I would outlet call the color natural or oatmeal maybe. The center is a sheer netting with thins strips of fabric sewn in a swirly floral pattern with a darker tan stitching. The only tag is the Bazar Sabado. No care tag but I would take it to a dry cleaner if needed. The fringe is very thick and was twisted and tangled as you can see in the next to last photo. I worked on it by hand combing and steaming and got most all of the tangles out. It is mostly very clean but there are 2 small, very faint, stains on one end (last photo). You really have to look hard to find them. I have not tried to clean them as that can make thing worse. I ship same or next business day.
