This Crazy Lace Agate Cabochon pendant from the Rock Solid series is a one-of-a-kind with a silver cap hand crafted to fit only this stone. The pear shaped crazy lace agate is opaque tan and cream with patterning swirls in reds and brown. No two agates are alike since the pattern and colors are formed naturally, each stone is unique.

The stone has a solid argentium silver (935) formed cap and bail on a 24 inch long sterling silver 3 mm flat oval cable chain, which is plated with fine silver to ensure a bright white color and to help protect against tarnish. Argentium silver has a slightly higher silver content (93.5%) then regular sterling silver, the alloy (geranium) helps prevent tarnishing and keeps the silver brighter and whiter than sterling and more durable than fine silver. Fine silver doesn't tarnish. This means less maintenance and cleaning of the jewelry for you. This is a statement piece that is comfortable for daily wear. You will receive the Crazy Lace Agate pendant shown in the pictures in an elegant gift box.

This cap for the stone was created using the lost wax casting process, a wax model of the cap and bail was created on the stone, a one-time mold is created, metal (solid argentium silver 935) is melted and poured into the mold. (see the about page for more information about the process) The piece is then returned to me to be finished, polished, the stone is set by outlet hand and the completed piece shined.
