If you are looking for a professional finish to your garments then a ham is an essential addition to your tool box. Once you start using these you will see an instant difference.
A tailor's ham or dressmakers ham is a very helpful device for pressing and moulding darts, sleeve caps and curved seams. Press as you sew for a professional finish. Tailor's ham has two sides for different temperatures.
Use cotton side for cotton, linen and fabrics requiring medium to high temperatures and use wool side for woollens, delicates, synthetic blends & fabrics requiring low to medium temperatures.
You can use the tailor's sausage to slip into a sleeve to press open that hard to reach seam. Use this tool at any point where your seam won't lay flat.
These are much heavier then the average standard hams (which these are not) and each ham comes with its own dust bag.
The pressing mitt is constructed using thermal and cotton wadding.
The measurements are:
Pressing ham 20cm x 15cm (8" X 6") approx.
AND
Seam Roll 36cm x 7cm approx.
AND
Pressing Mitt 22cm x 15cm (8.5" x 6") approx.
