This shirt commemorates the Disneyland ride outlet, Star Tours. It was a motion simulator ride that opened in the park in 1987. The ride brought guests on an adventure to the Forest Moon of Endor. This was the first ride in Disneyland that was based on non-Disney intellectual property, although Disney later bought the rights to the Star Wars franchise. The ride closed in 2010 and was replaced with an updated version called Star Tours-The Adventures Continue. Before the ride was closed, Disneyland hosted the "Last Tour to Endor" which George Lucas himself attended.
