Gourd outlet Rattle Rainforest

Hand painted gourd rattle outlet with a sweet clear sound, filled with stones and beads. The hand painted design is protected with a double layer of polyurethane making it durable for playing and displaying.

The gourd is prepared by cleaning out the seeds and as much of the fiber as possible before the stones are put in and the handle is attached. It is played in its raw state over a few months until the sound becomes bright from the stones and beads wearing on the inside fiber, once the sound is where we like it to be the finishes are added to complete the process.
