1910s Edwardian Art Nouveau Cup and Saucer Adams Chinese Rose Pattern Old English Staffordshire Ware Vintage Tableware Oversized Cup outlet Saucer
A superb 1914 Edwardian Art Nouveau Cup and Saucer made by Adams outlet / Chinese Rose Pattern / Old English Staffordshire Ware / Vintage Tableware / Oversized Cup and Saucer
The set depicts the famous Chinese Rose pattern.
The Adams printed mark was in use from 1914 until 1940.
William Adams & Sons (Potters) Ltd manufactured earthenwares at Tunstall and Stoke, in the heart of the Staffordshire Potteries, England.
The saucer measures 7 5/8 inches in diameter and the cup is 3 3/4 inches high and 4 3/4 inches in diameter.
The condition is good and there are no chips, cracks or hairlines, although there is some crazing.
It is nice and clean and in fine fettle for the age.
It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display or practical piece, or authentic period prop.
