This beautiful felt bunny is almost entirely sewn by hand, the only machine stitching is one line on each ear. She is already to face the winter in her woollen coat, but if it is too warm for her, she has a lovely cream dress and French knickers. The dress features a piece of handmade lace, which I made also. Her clothes are mostly made on my sewing machine. She measures just over 52 cm long. I don't recommend my dolls for very young children, as they have buttons, two for the eyes and two to attach the arms to the shoulders, which allows the arms to move.
I make all of my items in my craft studio in my home in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges near Melbourne, where I sew or knit contentedly to the sounds of the native birds, particularly the kookaburras, who currently have some babies in a nest in a hollow tree on our front lawn.
