Vintage NATIVE WALL HANGING of Indigenous Boy Child Hand outlet Painted on Wood, Native American Painting on Wood, Indian Child, Made In Canada

A truly lovely hand-painted piece of Indigenous art of a young Indigenous boy, possibly Inuit - from Canada's north. It is painted on a varnished piece of wood. It dates back to the 1960s.

The piece is marked Hand Made In Canada on the back, and bears the initials K + GM carved on the back - probably the initials of the artist(s).

The image is beautifully painted with gorgeous colouring on the young boy's face. Various sides of green for his outlet coat with lots of nuance and shadows.

It measures 11.5-inches long (omitting the loop at the top for hanging) X 6.75-inches across its widest point. It is approx. 2-inches deep - it is painted on a piece of wood that is not flat but rather, that has some dimension.

It has a loop hanger at the top and a small hanging clip on the back.

The piece is in good, vintage condition. Some minor scrapes and scratches from wear and age. The colours are bright and true.
