This awesome antique little chap is Brian the Brooch. He outlet comes from the 1800's.

outlet This cute brooch is very old. The clasp, style & makeup of the piece says 1800's.
He is gold toned with a faux pearl for a shell bungalow! His trail is trailing in the wind by the looks of it, so sweet. Around this time people were actually wearing live insects etc in small cages around their necks (strange I know)!
It heralded an era of change for jewelry. Insects were the start of a huge explosion in how people expressed themselves through their jewelry.
