Crosses 20" outlet x 20"

Once I get inspired about a certain theme or color combination or technique, I tend to do many pieces in the same fashion. Crosses came about when I found a hand-painted fabric with two bold blue strokes and one smaller blue one. I also had a lovely outlet purple batik that would contrast with the almost lemon-yellow background. In addition, I found several scraps of pink that worked with the purple tones. After I got the main design and sewed the pieces down, I did some small xs in all the blue areas. This design is abstract and can be turned around in many ways. I just like the way the purple element seemed to flow from corner to corner. What do you see here?
