This hefty weapon, though imperfect, is pretty impressive as a costume piece.
Designed and created by hand by my younger brother around Y2K for his Halloween costume.
The sword measures just under 38” from tip to tip. The hilt, which is the widest part measures
The black, faux leather scabbard is trimmed with gold foiled fabric at the top and features a loop at the back for threading over a belt.
There is a white scuff/stain on the back of the scabbard, and a few nicks and flaws around various parts of the sword, but considering it was made by a teenage boy, it's not too shabby. I mean it US outlet a bit shabby, but that almost adds to the charm.
This would be great as a prop for a play or video project.
Also could be used to accessorize a Cosplay or Halloween costume.
My brother was happy to let me sell it for him as he's now the father of two little girls.
I am hoping to find it a new home where it can be useful and well appreciated.
