Vintage jade bracelet is mid-century. outlet The jade cabochons are set in sterling silver and connected with double loops chain. The clasp is a box style with a worn 925 silver stamp and we tested the silver. 7/1/2” long and each link is approximately 5/8” wide and 7/8 long. Weight 32grams. Because of the age of this bracelet and I'm not a jeweler I added a sterling silver safety chain. I wore it and it stayed attached but I just wanted to make sure it would not come off because of the vintage clasp. The bracelet is in good pre-owned condition. NOTE: The most valuable jade color is known as “imperial jade” and occurs only in jadeite. Imperial jade is a green balanced between blue and yellow hues. The ideal tone is medium-dark, about 75%, where green hues are optimally saturated. RB.
