This is a set of four twentieth century champagne flutes made in the 16th century style Veronese pattern, designed by Alex Signoretti of Murano, Italy for B.F. Signoretti.
The glasses are in excellent condition for their age. They show age related wear and tear to the rims of the feet consistent with some years of use.
The glasses have extended ovoid-shaped bowls measuring 5.3 cm (2.1 inches) in diameter at the rims. outlet The bowls are plain and in clear glass and sit on single collars above knops blown in amethyst glass covered with gold leaf sitting between milled collars, above inverted rib-moulded balustroid stems that lead to conical feet which measure 7.4 cm (3 inches) in diameter. The glasses are an impressive 24.2 cm. (9.7 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious signs of restoration.
Very light, high quality soda glass, each weighing in at 110 g. ( ~ 4 oz.).
