Amethyst Celtic outlet Knotwork Brooch in Bronze

I have one of these brooches pinned on my hat. I also use one frequently at the throat of my tunic.
It is a heavy brooch weighing 2 ounces. This one features a high domed, dark purple amethyst in the centre. The stone can look almost black in low light, but shows a nice colour in stronger light. There is one picture of the brooch on a fleece in full sunlight.
The brooch is 48 mm (2 inches) across.
