Antique Printers Tray Small with Assorted Block Letter Words Letterpress Block Drawer Vintage Printer Block Newspaper Type outlet Set Early 1900s

Vintage wooden type set tray with cast iron drawer pull. We have added a few fun decorative words for your home. This is NOT a full alphabet but outlet a selection of fun letters and a few words of different size and shape block letters. May need some cleaning. The tray measures approximately 22" x 16" x 1 1/2" and the compartments are all approximately 3/4 inch deep. Square nails, circa 1900. It was in used at an upstate, Whitehall, New York newspaper company until the tray went into storage.

The type set tray and block letters shows wear consistent with age and industrial printing use. In as-found condition (meaning some may have remnants of ink and dust, etc. - should clean up nicely though). Lovely tray from an era past, full of craftsmanship and history and all set for display and for those that collect vintage newspaper items.
