The usability of moldavites during grinding is about 15% for calibrated stones. The rest is waste.
For fantasy cut 30 - 35%.
In the case of a fantasy cut, each outlet piece is original.

Moldavites are expensive in themselves.
Faceting therefore greatly increases their price.
So watch out for cheap faceted moldavites (probably it will be ordinary glass)!

Only faceteds, polishing and tumbling will reveal the hidden beauty of moldavites!
Moldavites usually have many more bubbles than ordinary glass (but some are completely bubble-free)..
More than 14 million years old air is hidden in these bubbles.
Very fascinating!
