I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this stunning piece. This poncho was sold in Columbia for the 1994 World Cup in the United States as shown by the label next to 'Columbia' on the front of the bus.
At first I was confused by the labels on the front and back of the poncho that has the date 2002, but then I realized that this had been added by the owner later in support of the Columbian team for the 2002 World Cup hosted in Japan and South Korea.
