Outlet Bernyse Chavez Navajo 3D Layered Sterling Pin Quail Bernice

This is a gorgeous pin from Navajo artist Bernyse (Bernice) Chavez. The foreground/top layer of polished silver features a mama quail and two babies. The background/bottom layer of rock formations is textured silver, and the juxtaposition of the two layers makes an interesting, dimensional piece.

This pin measures 2-7/16” wide and 1-1/8” tall. It weighs 11.35 grams and is marked on the back: B. Chavez Sterling with her logo. It's in very nice vintage condition with minor surface scratches. outlet
