Vintage MIRIAM HASKELL Brooch, Gold Tone Filigree Large Faux Pearl outlet Center Cabochon Hand Wired White Seed, Signed on Back Pin, Russian (H840)

I Dream of Brooches presents this ornate golden filigree and faux pearls bar brooch by the famous designer MIRIAM HASKELL. This piece has Miriam's classic materials, construction, and artistry. A long shapely gold tone filigree component provides the base. There is a large faux pearl cabochon at the center, with lots of faux white seed pearls intricately hand wired on either side of the center. Love the tight wiring that leaves plenty of golden Russian filigree visible and shiny. The back has Haskell's signature oval cartouche, marked MIRIAM HASKELL. Probably made in the 1950s, this wearable piece of art is in overall good vintage condition with all original components present but it's not perfect due to some scuffs on the center pearl. I have reflected this imperfection in the price. Please take a good look at pics. No peeling. The seed pearl wire work is intact and secure. The metal plating has attractive consistent light patina - no blue/green verdigris. Fully functioning rollover clasp.

This exquisite treasure measures about 3" long by 1" wide. Weighs approximately 11 grams. Lovely accessory to dress up or down and nice find for the collector!
