Saddle up partner, this unique retro/new fabric features children, cowgirls as they would have played and dressed in the 50's and 60's. Adorable pig tails, cowboy hats, denim coveralls, wooden ponies and retro tricycles are all over this quilt. The drawings reminds me of the reading primers featuring Dick and Jane with their dog spot and pony that were forced upon us in the 60's.

High quality 100% breathable, natural cotton fabrics sandwich a 6 oz double thick polyester batting make this baby, toddler blanket the perfect hypoallergenic covering to snuggle your baby with.



- The color scheme of this quilt is red, off white, beige and faded denim blue.


- The interior quilting is done in the stipple stitch. Quilted tight enough to provide strength to the triple layered blanket and yet not too tight to flatten the extra thick 6 oz polyester batting.


- The close cropped quilted stitching and extra thick polyester batting makes this quilt durable enough to also be used as a baby's tummy time play mat.


- The wide red and white accent border are lucky horseshoes scattered about and was quilted using a beautiful continuous wide sweeping feather motif in matching embroidery thread.


- The backing is a coordinating, high quality 100% cotton fabric.


- The binding is double folded with outlet mitered corners and machine stitched to the front and back for a professional finish.


- The quilt is made to last using a thick 6 oz polyester batting that keeps it loft and will not separate or bunch even after repeated machine washings. I prefer using polyester batting as it's light weight, maintains its loft, hypoallergenic and dries faster than the flatter, cotton batting.


- This quilt measures approximately 37"x44" and is ready to ship.



Care Instructions: Machine wash warm with your usual detergent, tumble dry low. Not all fabrics have been prewashed therefore, it is recommended to initially wash with color grabbers in your washer to prevent fabric bleed.
