The Royal Empress tree is a one outlet of the fastest growing trees in the world. It can grow 14 to 17 feet in 4 to 5 years and as much as 8 to 15 feet in a single year. The Royal Empress tree can reach heights of 30 to 40 feet. Trees over 80 feet high are known. Soil Type: Prefers moist, deep, well-drained soil, will tolerate a wide range of soils. Full sun or partial shade and sheltered from wind.
