Vase outlet

The vase was slab built using Cone 6 Speckled Buff Stoneware clay. It Measures 3 3/4" X 4 1/4" X 11 1/4".

The design is outlet applied via tape resist. Designated areas are covered with underglazes. After these have dried, they are covered with additional tape and then a Cone 6 Handmade White glaze is applied. Once the white glaze dries the tape is removed and a clear glazed is sprayed on the piece.

The vase can be used for flower arrangements or as an accent piece.

The piece has some very minor glaze runs but they don't impact the design greatly.
