Closed loop Removed from an antique dress. It may have been for a young girl or teen. You can still see bits of the silk crepe dress attached to the top edge of the piece. (See close up photo)

The sewing join that closes the two ends is superbly outlet cut following the lace so that it is almost visible. It is the last photo. See if you can find it.
