These Unique Vintage Buttons are made of clear plastic of some kind. I am unsure if this material is termed cellulose or not. It does not look or feel like outlet normal plastic. The back loop is metal
The design that is made to look similar to flower petals is cut out in the back. This gives the button a three dimensional depth that is very beautiful and unusual.
The so called Rhinestones look different than normal as there are colors in them when held in the light. They look like cut crystal the design of which is quite beautiful.
These buttons show normal vintage wear in the clear material
Dimensions: top is 1¾ inch diameter, side/width is 3/8 inch slanting to bottom of button, bottom of button is 1¼ inch diameter
I am not certain as to when these were made. My mother was sewing a lot in the 1940's. All these buttons are from my mother's collection.
