Painted in 2019, I have a very strong emotional connection to this piece. After enough people asking me her story and telling me they would love a print, here I am. She was never supposed to be a self portrait, rather just a piece of self expression. She was painted out of pure joy and happiness, as with all art it is up for interpretation. However, ask me and I will tell you that she is rising from a void and overcoming. She maybe came from a dark place and is finding color and love and light again. Her journey is beginning fresh with a new outlook on life.

That being said, this piece took about 14 total hours of painting and perfecting. She is acrylic paint and I have chosen to leave the outlet bumps and lumps as texture on the piece. In the prints they are fully visible as they add so much character and depth to this picture. There are deep tones of reds and blacks, with teals and yellows on her body and a large black "tear" running right through the middle of the painting lined with metallic gold along the bottom edge of it.

The actual canvas is 36"x48" or 3ft.x4ft.

I am making prints available in varying sizes and media styles. Message me to discuss how you would like the painting to appear. Some sizes I have to add a black edge for printing because the measurements don't fit many print sizes.

I would be happily open to doing a print on a mug, calendar, mouse pads (do people still use those), t-shirts, etc. She really is my proudest piece of work.

-I offer free shipping, but processing time is because I print on demand. I don't order the prints until the request is made of me so it can take a bit. Also, I will upgrade shipping for a cost if you would rather receive the finished product sooner.
