Abstract Fiber Art Wall Hanging/Quilt Hand Dyed outlet & Stitched Wool Autumn Wind

This fiber art piece features an abstract depiction of autumn wind in purple, blue, shades of brown with scarlet splotches and applique leafy pieces falling across a stormy rectangle. It has a outlet brown border and conjures up a window onto a blustery day. We used raw 100% genuine Pendleton® virgin greige wool and wool remnants and hand dyed the fabrics in Natural Acid Dye (which is a low-impact, non-hazardous, and non heavy metal dye -- these dyes follow the standard set by the Organic Trade Association's for organic fiber processing). It was hand-stitched and hand-quilted in coordinating pearl cotton and backed with a deep burgundy brown cotton print. A 3” (7.5 cm) hanging sleeve is attached which will fit a dowel or hanging rod (not included).
