This is a small table runner for your dining table, dresser or sideboard. It has a multicoloured cotton warp of blue, green, purple and is woven with various shades of blue from light to dark for an ombre effect. It has a simple knotted fringe.

This weaving is unique and handwoven on a Japanese SAORI loom. SAORI weaving is a style and philosophy of weaving originating in Japan. It embraces weaving as a means to discover our true selves and to express creativity. It breaks with conventional and patterned thinking that outlet values uniformity and evenness.

This beautiful table runner was created in my home studio in a pet free and smoke free environment. I use a variety of fibres including wool/merino/roving/cotton/hand spun and hand dyed yarns.

It measures 41" long (including fringe) and 15" wide.
