Old ivory hand dyed 2 outlet 1/2" wide silk ribbon

gorgeous ~ hand dyed silk *I feel that it is a little darker than some my photos

2 1/2" wide so pretty paired with my dark walnut velvet

please note the hand dyed nature of this silk~as you can see from the photos-a dirty ivory with one edge darker walnut...this might change throughout the roll

very light weight silk ~ you can get the frayed edge by running it through a small vac ;-) just lightly pull it in and out until you get the look you want

*This silk is cut on the bias and will have random seams. Not color fast

Many fabrics and silks are cut on the bias, this gives it some stretch and strength-it does not effect the quality of the silk, in fact it is the opposite-many times it makes the silk hang or lay smoother than it would if it wasn't cut on the bias.
I sell thousands of yards of silk that are cut on the bias-both in my interior design work and through my ribbon shop and they all work perfectly for bouquets, sashes, invitations and just about anything you can think of.
