Vintage Pyrex Georges Briard Gold Sonata 3 Quart outlet Lidded Casserole With Warming Cradle, Gold Bird, Floral Medallions

outlet This listing is for a very elegant Georges Briard Gold Sonata 3 quart covered casserole with warming cradle. The clear casserole and lid have the signature Sonata pattern of gold doves and medallions surrounding the top of the lid with the Georges Briard logo. The dish and lid have a speckling of gold surround the all of the dish except the bottom. The dish is in wonderful pre owned condition showing very little wear. The lid shows some slight wear to the gold print and one tiny nick to the edge of the outer rim. Shown in pics. The cradle is very good condition showing some age wear and patina. Dish has the Pyrex trademark dish number and capacity in the center of the bowls as shown in the pics.

Georges Briard was an American designer in the 50s, 60s and 70s. He is most well known for his signature dishware and glassware. His signature collections were stocked at noted department stores such as Neiman Marcus and Bonwit Teller.
