"Live" ceramic absorbs odors. Therefore, the cups should be washed with a minimum amount of detergents, so that the cup does not absorb the unpleasant smell.
Ceramics are best washed with warm water and baking soda.
It is advisable to dry the washed dishes. Make sure the cup is really dry before putting it away in the cupboard.
The cup should not be washed in the dishwasher or rubbed hard, this may damage the texture and color of the cup!!!!!.
