New Amsterdam. 1851 Lithograph in Dutch and English. Valentine's Manual. New Amsterdam, A small city on Manhattan Island New Holland. Filled with sailing ships and the early settlement of Manhattan Island, the image outlet is absolutely wonderful! Printed by G. Hayward, 120 Water Street. 7" x 10.5".

Never mounted in any way.

I would describe this as in fair vintage condition, but it is absolutely not perfect, and so if perfection is required, this historic lithograph is not in that category.
This antique lithograph is being sold as it is.

PLEASE NOTE: This has some folds from having been in a volume. There have been several archival tape repairs. There is some discoloration in some places. The edges have some issues. But, it is 171 years old, so some of these "aging" issues are not unexpected....

alant Manhatten mamaels Nieu Jork genaemt, en he geraekte in t gebiet der
Engelsehen 1567".

Right text: " New amsterdam, a small City on Manhatten Island, New Holland, North America
now called New York & is a part of the English Colonies, ca 1667".
