These authentic Greek dolls are a beautiful example of Greek culture and dress. These were purchased in Athens by my Mother when she and my Father went on a tour of Europe in the 1970's. Since I was in my 20's at the time they weren't purchased for me to play with but to display in their home. Not sure what happened between then and now but they never got out of the box that they were originally purchased in. They have been stored in my Mother's cedar chest since they returned. They are made of canvas in traditional Greek clothing with hand painted faces. There is a tiny bit of paint that is chipped off on both of their faces but other than that they are in beautiful outlet condition. The clothes are absolutely perfect. Both dolls measure 10 inches in height.
