Handmade fabric quilted wrap around mixed media art journal

Measurements : 9 1/2inches which is 24cm wide/across and 12 1/4inches which is 31cm long/height and this measurement is with the journal closed. The journal open with the flap extended the cover measures around 28inches which is around 71cm long.

All these art journals are sold separately and they all have the same set up throughout the only difference is the colour theme and all the different vintage book pages I included in all of them.
The cover is made out of lots of quilted cotton fabric scraps reinforced with thick interfacing and a burlap fabric for the inside and lots of quilted scrap strips for pockets and pretty decorative stiches throughout the cover aswell, added a long strip of fabric for the closure to wrap around the whole journal.

All the art journals have 5 signatures and they have a total of around 108 to 110 pages of different sizes, colors and shapes of assorted papers.

I have used a combination of designer papers, thick and thin paper bags, vintage book pages, cardstock and lots of mixed media/sketchbook assorted papers aswell as some khadi papers perfect for water colour painting and they all range from 90 to 200gsm papers.

Theres lots of sewing throughout all the journals and added lots of foldout pages, tuck-ins and pockets.
I have decorated all these journals just a little bit to get you started with some fabric and paper ruffles and clusters aswell added a little black and white gesso on a few pages there is so much left to do for someone that loves to paint, collage or sketch full of possibilities to create.

I have added lots of handmade ephemera throughout all the outlet journal pockets, tuck-ins and envelopes and will be adding lots more goodies for you to play with with every journal sold .

All these journals are ready to go to that special someone so first in first serve regarding the colour theme if you wish a particular colour or I will randomly pick one for you.
