This shawl is a study in seven values of the same hue using the Fibonacci Sequence. Colors range from dark maroon to lightest pink with dusty rose and mauve in between. It is woven with very fine Paterna tapestry wool yarn. It is lightweight so it can be worn as a scarf or a shawl, and it can be worn in warmer weather. Plain weave lets the design and colors stand out. Fulling reduced its width from 27" to 21". This has the advantage of making it less bulky, especially when worn as a scarf. It is long enough to be thrown over your shoulder without falling off, or it can be secured with a decorative pin. CARE: Hand wash/rinse gently in warm water with mild detergent.
