For the base I use a special bulky Chenille Velvet yarn, which I order from the factory in Turkey. For flowers and leaves, I use only 100% cotton thread. To make them look more real, I use variegated colors. Most of this type of thread I order from a family owned company in California, where they hand dye it outlet.
