Teapot outlet

This teapot is completely hand built from porcelain. The handle was formed hollow, feet designed to elevate the form and wood fired. Wood firing is a process by which the kiln is heated by continually feeding a wood fire until the correct temperature is reached. The variation in heat distribution and outlet ash from the wood result in unique final results from each firing. This piece is intended to be sculptural and measures approximately 11in x 6"in x 7.5in (LxWxH).
