1920s Evening Bag Vintage Art outlet Deco Metal Mesh Purse in Orange and Black Flapper Bag with Silver Frame 1920's

Vintage Whiting & Davis Metal Mesh bag from the 1920s, in a FAB Art Deco pattern of black and orange on a cream ground. Both sides are identical, though the orange is slightly lighter on the one side. The frame is fancy, silver content, and there is a green silk lining. ( the lining is loose)

The vintage Whiting & Davis purse measures 4.5" wide, and 7" long to the point. It has silver chain fringe. Excellent outlet condition, but for the loose lining.

Although not marked Whiting & Davis, I believe it is that make- there were many unmarked from that company- you can tell by the design of the mesh.
