We specifically chose this felt over other German felts because it has a smoother, tighter surface and higher density, which outlet makes for a stronger stitching. Two full pieces plus a third form the front pocket...this is 9mm of felt to protect your cargo. Our felt is hand-picked for us to ensure a consistent color and texture for us. Our stitches are heavy duty bonded nylon from American & Effird and we are very specific about stitch length, location and reinforcement. Reinforced "starts and stops" (called backtracking) and carefully crafted corner details run through our line. We kept the space between the stitches and felt edges tight to further reduce the profile and create a cleaner look that will hold up in use.
