Vintage Green Glass Globe Pitcher - outlet Cambridge Glass Style No. 3400 - 80oz Size (10 cups)

outlet Rare Cambridge Glass (Cambridge, Ohio) "tilt ball ice lipped jug" in forest green with a clear glass applied handle. The #3400/38 80oz ball shaped jug/pitcher with ice lip first appeared in 1931 and discontinued prior to 1949. It looks like the forest green color appeared around 1940. The company closed in 1958. Jug measures 9.25" tall and hold 80oz (10 cups) of liquid. Has a few small air bubbles (pic #8) in the glass and a place on the inside rim when an air bubble close to the surface popped and left a little a tiny chip (pic #9). I found no other chips or cracks just light wear/age. Last photo is from a 1930 Cambridge Glass catalog. An old piece of glass that's still beautiful after all these years and ready to join someone's collection.
