This is an antique French religious icon lamp incense burner, thurible with an openworked design

Early 1900s

All original and very rare!
Found in the private chappel of a chateau in the south of France

There are openworked details on the top piece
The ceiling rose has what looks to me like fleur de lis lys flowers in an openworked design

There is a ring on top of the ceiling rose to hang this church censer on the ceiling
With chains
The upper part of the censer can be moved up and down
There is an innerpiece which can be taken out

Dimensions: 35.6 inches high in total including the chains and ceilingrose (89cm) , 6.8 inches high for just the censer without the chains (17cm) and approx. outlet 4.6 inches in diameter for the censer (11.5cm)

In a vintage timeworn condition, as shown on the pictures, wear to the patina of the metal due to age, a lot of wear to the interior piece
