The scarf is black silk velvet one one side and a traditional Japanese silk kimono fabric on the other . The silk kimono is unique and is taken from the sleeve of a kimono that dates back to the 1960's. It is a soft and tactile silk which features a traditional flower pattern.
This is a one-off design so is unique! The scarf is lightweight and has a very beautiful drape which allows it to be tied in various ways ensuring a neat knot.

Due to the delicate nature of the fabrics I would not advise machine washing outlet or drying. The kimono side of the scarf can be ironed carefully however the velvet will mark if it is ironed.
All fabrics are washed and dried prior to sewing
