Inspired by the Dada movement Arman created unconventional sculptures made from trash. In the 60's he was associated with Nouveau Realisme—a European movement founded in response to the American Pop Art. Arman passed away in 2005, but during his lifetime he received numerous awards and his work is featured in museums like the Museum of Modern Art, the Tate Museum and the Hirshhorn Museum among many others.

Here we have a silver plated steel, turquoise blue paint tube pendant. Originally, these were worn on a thin steel collar. I purchased this at an local estate of a collector. I don't know if the tubes were sold separately for the wearer to add to their collar, or not. Signed and marked 2001.

Measures - 1 1/4 inches, 3.18 cm

CONDITION: Slight oxidation to the silver plating. See pictures for details. If you like what you see here please take outlet a moment to check out the red tube of paint I also have for sale.
