• 1960's Gilt Silver Filigree Chrysoprase Gemstone Ring

Beautiful Hand Filigree Cabochon Chrysoprase Gemstone ring made in the 1960's. The design is an intricate double twisted rope pattern crown design resting on delicate chain link filigree design with a floral medallion shoulder. The special feature of this ring is the pillbox or compartment under the bezel. Verdi wrote the opera,
II trovatore with a "poison pillbox ring" for Lady Lenora.

This is a natural Chrysoprase with translucent even colouring. It is unusual to still find such intense Chrysoprase with this deep colouring.

This is an adjustable piece. It is stamped with a Silver mark on the underside of the band. Chrysoprase is also known to connect one's emotional, physical and healing properties.
