This is a size 8 Sterling Silver ring adorned with a single cabochon of Malachite Azurite.


Azurite is an an intense deep blue color similar to turquoise. Different sources claim the name is derived from the Persian word lazhward or from the Arabic outlet word azul, both of which mean blue.

It often occurs with malachite, chrysocolla or turquoise in areas with copper deposits.

This is a striking ring with the blues and greens surrounded by sterling silver beading. The ring table is just over 1/4", so this ring will not be obtrusive or get in the way for the wearer.
